The third throw landed the lasso around the glass jar. Both pulled hard, with too much excitement, causing the container of batteries to nearly hit them when it went over the edge of the counter. Bucky looked at Katey with a little grin covered in undisguised disgust.
“We about bought it there!”
“Didn’t though.” Her smile was much less defiled.
“Now, if we can just manage the rest.”
Getting the AAs into the device was quite a challenge. However, the two Terriers managed the feat, got to the couch, and found the station just as the “Lassie” theme song began.

I’ve heard all about these clever terriers. If I had them, I would set up a secret video camera and see what they are up to all day when I’m gone.
