Focusing in

This morning will be short. It is 6:50am and Mom, Sis, and I leave to help transport Dad to another hospital for this morning. He is having a port put in his jugular for dialysis.

Our prayers are that the dialysis is not necessary. Our hopes are simply that he lives.

Isn’t it interesting how your lives can become so pivotal on just one point for a period of time? All our efforts; all our cares; hopes; dreams; all become nothing for a bit when we are focused, especially on those we love.

In a sense, God has given us such a joy and such a power to be able to block out all for even a time to focus on the here and now and understand how much this physical life means to us and how we know He is truly in charge.

I think that’s it for today. Today, I didn’t want to leave you all alone out there, but I am tired and have so much to do.
Namaste,
Scott

I will update on FB, but suffice it to say, Dad’s surgery went well; he is awake and talking. Can’t take showers anymore, and not happy about that, but I am just thankful he can complain about it.
    Again, thanks, I am exhausted.

Wow, Scott, you continue to humble me. At a time when you are exhausted and worried, you still think about other people. I’ve never met or spoken to your Dad, but because he fathered you and you love him, he has been such a big part of my thoughts and prayers during this period.

That is all part of God’s plan, that we should hurt with each other and support each other…. and not want to leave our friends alone even when we don’t know how we are going to keep going ourselves, but it’s God who gives us that super human ability that lies in each of us. As soon as we connect with Him it starts to appear! Often that’s before we even know we’ve connected with Him.

God bless everyone reading this today and I am praying for a miraculous healing for Scott’s father.
