Every Day…

Wow! I look back on things and it is amazing!

I think he is now my Mascot!
Send me some choices for a name…

I know I am continually talking about my stroke and how it kick-started my life, got me motivated, and altered the direction I was taking…All that (read the past blogs to know more!) and yet I still didn’t see everything.

I hit a record this week (for me): I passed my 1,000th view of my site. That is a milestone for me; it’s something I used to just dream a little about.

Now, the thing is why?…why did it happen? And the conclusion that is just changing my world is that it’s not me…it’s YOU!!!

It’s you! All of you out in this big old world!

All of you out there stopping by to visit. Some of you look; some of you read; some of you comment. It all amounts to you doing the largest portion of the work. I try my best to find something you all will like, but it is you who take the time to stop by and see what I have done with the place.

Thank you.

I have made so many new friends and so many different types of friends. Having this stroke caused me to step outside my comfort zone and get to a place where the world is my neighbor and not just this tiny town I live in.

My Dad got very ill and I met so many of his friends. I just keep meeting people and it is so joyous to have you all in my life!

Know that any time any single one of you, new or old, stops by and says hi (even with just a view), I smile inside. It tells me that I am writing from my heart and you are seeing that.

I love you all!

Love comes and goes from so many different places. And I have stepped out and follow so many different people now, here on this blog, and just out in the world. I shine most of the time and you should be proud because you all helped!

Thanks again.

I am looking forward to a continued friendship with each of you.
Namaste,
Scott

All my interactions with people in blogging have been positive. I know part of that is because I avoid “hot-button” and controversial topics and don’t follow bloggers who delight in that sort of thing.

But I think there’s also a number of positive and friendly people who are blogging. I think if the news media would dedicate more time to stories of good people doing good things, we’d realize that we’re not so different after all.

Blogs like yours make me take notice of the wonderful people and good things in my life and appreciate them. πŸ™‚

I think you’ll find the next 1,000 views come by even more quickly!

Thank you for the positive encouragement. I am amazed at the depth of the positive people in my life. You are right; I try to not get so much into controversy. I am not really interested in it, anyway. I know people who love to argue will, if they can, but I much prefer love and happiness over anger and pain. Scott

Hi Scott, Congratulations on your blog and on getting on with life in such a positive way when many may have despaired. I haven’t “visited” for a while due to many other calls on my time, but every time I do, I’m glad I did. Here’s to the next thousand. You have attracted quantity along with quality, because what you are doing comes from the heart.

Yes, it does, Linda. It comes from my heart, the part that loves hearing how happy you all are when you visit.

    Hi,
It certainly is amazing the different people that we meet in the blogosphere, and the different things we learn as well about other countries and lifestyles. πŸ™‚

Even though I am fairly new to your blog, I have certainly enjoyed reading your posts, and congrats on your hits as well. πŸ˜€

Some names for your monkey off the top of my head:
Jo-Jo, Chip, Charlie, Tumbles, Bubbles, Gilley
That’s all I can think of at the moment but I’m sure others will come up with some more for you as well. πŸ™‚

Now, I will really have to think about the name for the monkey!
      Thanks for following my blog.
You and the others have helped me prove what I have always believed:
      People are, basically, good!
      Thanks,
      Scott
