Five Haiku on Marriage and Love

Five Haiku on Marriage and Love
By Scott L Vannatter – June 18,2012

Words said, heart broken
Mad gives way, timid love tries
Candles, kiss, forgive

Man speak; Woman speak
Two languages, neither heard
Love interprets all

What’s this? Venus, Mars?
Do you not know each other?
Meet on Earth and see.

One year all entwined,
Five years speak not much between,
Golden see each reborn

Spring marriage, new, fresh
Summer leads to fall and cold
Spring is vow renewed

carly books

I read lots of books, from mythology retellings to literary fiction and I love to reread books from childhood, this is a place to voice my thoughts for fun. I also like to ramble about things such as art or nature every now and again.
