Okay, it is 3:08am and my little brain isn’t stopping. I am not sleepy and this is the way it was just before I, finally, found the correct sleeping medication. My time off Melatonin is up soon, so tomorrow night (well, tonight, I guess) I can take the regular stuff and get some much needed sleep. In the meantime, I decided to get tomorrow’s post (Thursday night for Friday morning) ready if I could.
I decided I couldn’t so I started reading the 28 new posts I had in my email in box to catch up on since I slept today and missed doing it when it was much less. 🙂 Not a gripe, just an explanation. Okay, so I decided to look at http://www.photobotos.com/milky-way/
which is a photo per day and is, normally, very interesting. Today’s (or yesterday – this is getting confusing) was a shot (above) of a barn in a field and the Milky Way above it. The idea was to focus on how important the barn appeared in the midst of it all.
Well, I will wait…do you see it?! I saw it almost immediately (Perhaps, you need to be almost asleep to see it). The Angel? The outline of the Angel above the barn. I have tried below to use paint to outline it (I am not very good).
Anyway, perhaps, you can now see it in the original picture. It just struck me as so interesting that here in a picture of a barn we have a starry outline of an Angel of the Heavens. Nothing fancy tonight, folks. I have told you that, while religion and I don’t always agree, I do whole-heartedly believe in God. Doesn’t seem like a coincidence to me. I don’t believe in them.

Angels Watch Over Us
By Scott L Vannatter August 23, 2012
How else do I explain it all?
The way things work just don’t
Seem to fit completely
with Mr. Darwin’s ideals.
Perhaps, there’s more to it
Than the mere luck and hope thing
Perhaps, the world’s a bit more
Organized and overseen
I have lived my entire life
In the half way between sight and blindness
I had little idea of how my life
Fit together with all the rest
I sit down to a meal, to a discussion
And out of it all comes a surprise
A stroke, a medical everyday thing
That had life-changing effects on me
To look at it all, the woman with me
Who knew how to drive a stick
Who knew how to handle an emergency
To get me where I needed and when
My children, separated normally by states
Brought together for a wedding nearby
Not knowing how this wedded bliss time
Would also be the way to be with me
Dying and not, waking and not
I struggled each day learning anew
Fighting for life, for meaning
I, (with God), rebuilt me from the ground up.
Back to work, then out again
I still wasn’t getting it; needed more
So, home was to stay, to get stuff out of the way
I needed to learn that I had more, yes more to say
From the classroom to the world
New friends I make; new people I help
They help right back and I needed that
To learn to depend and to aide.
Now, I know, but I am not done
There is more God has to say.
And listen I will more than before
For now, I know the way.

Scott

Bravo Scott. The photo is great. As for God and religion. Remember, God did not create religion … man did. I believe in God and angles too, but I don’t always get along too well with religion.
