Friday Fictioneers

Tribute

“Did you see it?”  Jordan looked at Kyle then back at the metal sculpture.

Kyle stared at the two-part piece.  The hand, finger pointing to the right with the jeering head right below it took up most of the wall.

“No, I didn’t see it.”  Then, he did.

The hand closed but for the finger, opened slightly.   Black flakes fell down onto the face, which snarled even more and silently … sneezed.

He saw the small inscription under the face and read:

“Life’s a joke or nothing to sneeze at…up to you. – Curly”

“I’ll be darned,” said Kyle. “Moe? Larry?”

carly books

I read lots of books, from mythology retellings to literary fiction and I love to reread books from childhood, this is a place to voice my thoughts for fun. I also like to ramble about things such as art or nature every now and again.
