Friday Fictioneers

Friday Fictioneers – I am glad the Mayans were wrong!

“Let’s go in for a cup of Java,” said George, smiling.

“I don’t have time,” I replied.

“Then, let’s go in here…see the picture?  They serve half cups!”

“Not funny, George.”  My patience was short.

“I suppose that the fact there is a Steaming cup on the door and it is located on Fulton street isn’t funny, either?”  His smile never let up.

“No, that’s even worse!”  I was getting mad now.

“Okay, tell you what:  you go in there and tell them you are Steamed and want the best cup of Fulton…”.

He didn’t see it coming at all.

carly books

I read lots of books, from mythology retellings to literary fiction and I love to reread books from childhood, this is a place to voice my thoughts for fun. I also like to ramble about things such as art or nature every now and again.
