I know I am late.  It’s my own fault.  I will still go back and read most of yours.  I had a rough week and just did not remember nor see the prompt.  Trying to get back into it now.  This one was fun to write.  I hope you like it too.

Clichés

Old one on the right takes the lowest notes:  they are easier.

New one on the left takes the higher ones: crisp and clear.

Between them, they make such beautiful music together.

Now, traveling to Europe for a tour, they have a moment together: their first.

“I say, they were preparing to put me down, no strings attached,” from the first.

“They won’t now.  We make such beautiful music together,” reply.

“I am so glad we met.  You know, you had me at cello.”

“Well, I knew you weren’t just fiddling around.”

“Yes, and you just plucked at my heartstrings.”
