“Just in Time” – Genre: humorous / Sci-Fi

Jeremy was beyond excited.  His “new” car was officially his.  Sharon would be upset, no doubt.  She was all for the new, the 2038, sleeker, hybrid, 325 mpg, top out at 61.  She wouldn’t know “priceless” if it bit her.

This car had style.  Jeremy hopped in.  It even had a key!  No retinal scan, thumbprint ID, or form-fitting contour recognition.

He turned the key and shifted.  Rattling and whizzing, the engine died.  Jeremy was heart-broken.  Then, he stared.

“Oh my God!” he screamed when he saw the billboard on the road, neither of which had existed for 20 years!

Namaste,

Scott

carly books

I read lots of books, from mythology retellings to literary fiction and I love to reread books from childhood, this is a place to voice my thoughts for fun. I also like to ramble about things such as art or nature every now and again.
