Friday Fictioneers – 4/8/2013 – “Bye Bye” – Genre: Horror

“Bye Bye”

“Quit being such a baby!”

“I am not being a baby, Cheril.  There’s something there.”

“We are getting a lot to check this place out, so do your job.”

Link climbed the old rickety staircase going up to the “haunted attic.”

He did not like the feelings he had when others had simply told him about this place where a young woman was murdered.  He opened the door.

Cheril waited, impatiently, with Jake.  Ten minutes later, there was a crash and a bulb shattered at Cheril’s feet.

They looked for hours, but never found anything of Link except his equipment.

“Oh My God!  We found the missing link!”
