“Horsing Around”

“Sweetheart!  A beautiful horse!”

What!?  It was mangy-looking with tattered hair, patchy fir, and spindly legs.   The idea of it winning a race was laughable.  I said so.

Kimmy looked at me.

“It’s a wonderful, intelligent animal.”

I started to say something.  The horse used the nearby hose to splash the fence.  As if satisfied there was no current, it began stepping on the wires.  When the first one popped off, hitting the ground, it looked at me.

As the hoof moved up to the second wire, I ran.  Racetrack or not, I knew I couldn’t outrun it for long.

Love it Now

Love is ever-present within our own Being but we might not feel it until we live in the Now. "Love it Now" was created to share ideas about loving and being present in the here and now. Enjoy!
