FSF – Five Sentence Fiction – 7/18/13 – Wisdom PG13

Five Sentence Fiction – Wisdom

What it’s all about: Five Sentence Fiction is about packing a powerful punch in a tiny fist. Each week I will post a one word inspiration, then anyone wishing to participate will write a five sentence story based on the prompt word.

The word does not have to appear in your five sentences, just use it for direction.

This week: Wisdom

Read my story, then click on the pic above to go to the list of the rest!!!

“Looking Back: Hindsight and All That”

She hadn’t really considered all the things that could happen just because she had been a little tired, grumpy, and hungry; she let herself go this time.

It had been bad enough to do the crime of breaking into the place and leaving her fingerprints everywhere, but to also steal and damage property that did not belong to her was really bad; mom was going to throw a fit.

The food had been okay; it had taken several samplings to get it just right; she did not like it much, anyway.

The sleeping arrangements had been just as bad; she had been picky there, too.

So, Goldilocks sat in the back of the squad car waiting for Papa Bear to give his version of her breaking and entering along with stealing and damaging property; it was going to be a long one at juvie.
