“As, Bees, and Cs”
By Scott L Vannatter
Professor Stanley looked at Joel and smiled.
“See, my boy? This new queen bee robot will be able to infiltrate the honey bee hives and give us invaluable information about how they work and communicate.” He puffed up noticeably.
“Professor…” Joel began.
“I know, my boy. Genius, sheer genius.”
“That’s not it, Sir.”
“Well, out with it, boy!”
Obviously, that accident two years ago had really taken its toll.
“Well, Sir, first it’s not a honey bee. And, second…well…it’s two-stories tall!”
The professor smiled. “Details. We shall fix it! Now, to simply make two-story black bees!”
And he walked off.

Once a mad scientist….Nice. It took me back to an old black and white movie with a mad man making plans as others wrung their hands.

Dear Scott,
Details. Details. Methinks the professor is suffering a bit of disconnect. Fun.

Poor professor. He’s doing his best. I think maybe he needs a vacation, or maybe his assistant does at least. This was great and funny. Love it!
