Friday Fictioneers – 8/16/13

“Karma”

I was the first to spot the, um, accident.

“Joe, lookee, an honest to goodness Acto’God.”

“Samuel, Samuel. That’s not an Act of God.”

“Well, then smartie-pants, what is it?”

“That there’s a perfect example of Karma.”

“How’s that?”

“Well, see, an Act of God is when the storm blows the tree on your car and insurance won’t pay.”

“Yeah, so?”

“This is Karma because, Ken’s at work, Hallie’s home, and that’s not their car.”

“So, how does that make it Karma?”

“It’s the same car that’s been there for the last two weeks this time each day.”

“Oh, Ah…”

Those trees sure are good at finding the cheaters and taking care of business. I should have had trees instead of bushes in my yard.

I know everyone sees something different…I see two ‘angels’ conversing and think that maybe it was a party of the third part trying to dish up some dirt. Mess up something that didn’t need messing up… That would be karma. 🙂

If there was another shoe to drop…I’ve got two left feet on the dance floor…
And in the morning my brain isn’t fully charged. But I did enjoy it!
