Prompt – Erased

Rub Out
By Scott L Vannatter
“Show me, Sandra,” Kimmie smiled at the shy, but brilliant, adversary holding the ridiculously large purple eraser in her hand before anyone else had arrived in the room.
“I don’t know about that, Kimmie, as it could well get me in so much trouble with the office if my Dad found out that I borrowed this from his lab at home.”
“I knew it was nothing but an ol’ eraser!”
Sandra, smart, but with a streak, wiped the eraser across Kimmie’s mouth, leaving only an empty place that could be seen through, but not talked from.
With Kimmie screaming silently, Sandra erased her head followed by the rest of her before the next person entered the class and found out how she had eliminated her opposition on the debate team.

What’s really interesting is that I didn’t see the image until after I had done the story!
