Bridge the Gap

By Scott L Vannatter – 100 words

Dave had run for more than 10 minutes.  He looked down the bridge at the red tent.  He was no closer.  He started running again.  With each step the tent moved forward then back.  He stopped, gasping for air.  His first thought was that if this was real science fiction, he could just picture being there and he would be.

He looked.  Now, he was inside the red tent!  “OMG!” he thought. “It does work.  I could visit the Himalayas by just thinking about…”  Wearing Bermuda shorts and flip-flops was no way to visit the mountains…and it was slick there.

carly books

I read lots of books, from mythology retellings to literary fiction and I love to reread books from childhood, this is a place to voice my thoughts for fun. I also like to ramble about things such as art or nature every now and again.
