I thought that, for tonight, I would try something a bit different. Instead of trying to tout myself up or write something to totally intrigue you, I decided I would print a list of the top 20 blogs I follow and try to read. I don’t always succeed (especially of late), but these people work very hard and are truly fascinating to read. Many of them read each other, of course; however, not all do. There will definitely be someone on here you don’t normally read.
I don’t ask that you choose one and follow; what I do ask is that, instead of reading my 1000 words or so, please choose one from the list below, read it and comment – either comment on it or comment on mine about which one you decided (or didn’t) to read.
List: (not in order)
1) Carnival Day – Haibun Thinking An Elephantcant
2) The Importance of Not Knowing Adrianna’s Random
3) GirlBoner Solo Sex: 5 Masturbation Tips Worth Trying August McLaughlin
4) I survived… Behind the Mask of Abuse
5) The truth about myself: A story on self-hate Boomie Bol
6) A Ya Novel and a Research Trip Debra Kristie
7) A dog’s nose Harvesting Hecate
8) “I always feel like somebody’s watching me” hope the Happy Hugger
9) In which I discover that I’ve learned nothing for the past three years of college. I Think in Comics
10) Friday Fictioneers-16 MAY 2014/ the Black Sheep Indira’s Blog
11) Miscellaneous May Musings — And WordPress Heard Us JMMcDowell
12) Free stuff is cool: last day Mollie Player
13) MEETING THE WILD CHILD! Susie Lindau
14) Friday Fictioneers–Another World This That and the Other Thing
15) Deadly Dreams The Netherworld
16) Derby + beer + dress ups The News with Nipples
17) Cat In A Box And A New Hairbrush The War in My Brain
18) Wicked Nights Blog Hop Theinnerwildkat
20) Texting After Dark Rendezvous with Renee
Now, I usually have about 47 listed in my emails to read and I follow a little over twice that (so, very near 100). I have said before that I can’t read them all and, now, I am actually working a lot and can’t read most of them. Every week to two, though, I try to read, at least 15-20, commenting on several, liking all I read.
Just letting you know that some of you I follow because I don’t want to lose track of you. I may pop in and read yours sometime.
Regardless, I hope you had fun.
