Paper Speak with Forked Tongue
By Scott L Vannatter – 100 Words
Jimmy sat at the small wooden table in the “Far Eastern Foods” restaurant.
He was finishing up his meal when the waitress brought him a fortune cookie.
He opened the cookie and removed the small slip of paper. He read:
“It is happiness enough to know one is superior to the fork people.” He read it twice.
Then he stared at the plastic utensil in his hand. He looked at the table next to him.
Two teenagers had their chop sticks hanging from their noses while they snorted.
“Don’t think so,” he said as he tore up the paper declaration.

Nice one.
BTW – that was me years ago that Jimmy saw sticking chop sticks up my nose.
Well, maybe not years ago.
Ow. My wife just smacked me.
Ok. It was last week with my grandson.
He loved it.
Have you ever tried them in your ears?
thanks again for the fun. Randy

I can see that happening, but fortunately not actually see it. Good one, Scott.

Isn’t our imagination wonderful for allowing us to “see” without seeing?!
