Time for FSF – Five Sentence Fiction. The idea is to use the word prompt (at least, in spirit) to create a 5 sentence complete story. After reading my entry below, click > HERE < for the rest of the selections. A big thanks to Lillie McFerrin for hosting this wonderful blog. Enjoy!
FSF – Five Sentence Fiction – Dancing
Scott L Vannatter
A Hitch in My Get-A-Long Rated PG13
Scott knew he should have told Karyne about the stroke and the balance problem, so she could; at least, tell him up front in an email that she did not want to see him, instead of making a scene in front of the entire dance joint where they had chosen to meet after the computer match up.
He decided to leave, turning around to make an exit out the back door so no one would notice, figuring he could tell her something tomorrow online where it was safe.
The petite blond hobbled up on the permanent crutches strapped to her arms and looked at him with a smirk.
“Don’t we make a pair?”
Scott leaned over and gave her a hug, thinking that not only was this a better night than he would have thought, but it also showed that honesty all around would be best from the start.

Didn’t happen, but I think more about that than I used to.
