I am not going to take the lime light away today. We have a new author in our midst. Buckwheatrisk has written a book about abuse; this is a subject she knows all too well.
While I sit and tell how I suffered as a child, my suffering was imposed out of ignorance or my lack of communication – something no one was really to be blamed for. This woman’s abuse came from her family and others and was intentional.
It was bad enough that she has had to move (with her husband) away from her own family and his to a place that she cannot even tell us much about for fear her family might find out just where she is and that abuse start all over.
I have had the opportunity to communicate now with my family and let them know (to their surprise) some of what I felt when I was young. She can only do this second-hand through her blog. And, her family will not care; in fact, they will simply blame all of it on her and her “ways”.
I have gotten to know this young woman through her blog, my comments, and her replies. I doubt that I ever get to, actually, meet her and her wonderful husband – I hope, perhaps, I will. But she has made an impact on my life and she has been kind enough to let me know I have made one on hers as well.
She has taken a risk; she has published her story, her life; she wants others who suffer to know that it’s not all right and that they need to speak up.
Fortunately, I have never known this abuse. Unfortunately, I have see just enough, endured just enough from some others, to understand all too well what this type of life must entail. My heart goes out to her and I hope her book goes viral.
The link is permanently on one of the pages of my blog site. It is also here—>
Think strongly about purchasing it. If you don’t have a Kindle, you can download the app to put the Kindle reader on your PC for free.
Namaste,
Scott

Thank you for sharing your truth buckwheatrisk.. I will download your book.
Having grown up in a family (going back several generations) that was steeped in physical and verbal abuse, I know I will appreciate your journey and the freedom that comes from breaking it’s otherwise perpetual cycle. Love and Light.

Thank-you for sharing, Scott! When we impose our baggage onto others it leaves wounds and then lifelong scars. When relating to others, we must check our baggage with God, so our relating is replenishing and not victimizing. It’s so sad for me to see what people have had to go through at the hands of others…
Thank-you for your replenishing friendship!!
