Reality Bites, um Bits…

On January 28, 4amwriter, nominated me for an award.  The “Reality Blog Award”.  This simply made my week.  It has been a rough week, made especially bad by my injury to my neck and shoulder.  This has resulted in pain ranging from a 10 Sunday night to a 5-6 on Wednesday while I am writing this.  It stemmed from sleeping on the couch while I was sick a week ago Sunday and made worse by my putting heat on it instead of ice (yeah – idiot).  My hope is that a second trip to the Chiropractor will take care of it and I will be okay by Saturday.

Regardless, this award is wonderful and I am so happy.  Thank you k.johnston!!!

1) If you could change something what would you change?  The day I injured myself playing basketball with my students.

2) If you could relive one day, when would that be? The day I asked my second wife to marry me.

3) What one thing really scares you? That I might get Alzheimer’s and stop remembering things (tie with “go blind”).

4) What one dream have you not completed yet and do you think you will be able to complete it? I know it sounds petty, but I would love to be independently wealthy.  It is still my hope to complete it with God’s help (there are just so many things I want to do and places to go).

5) If you could be someone else for the day, who would you be? A woman, just so I could understand better how it feels and how they think.
